Olga’s Children’s Garden

Olga’s garden is for children of all ages to learn about gardening and to discover nature.

The children are active in the garden by starting seeds, planting, recording growth, maintaining, harvesting and eating the herbs and vegetables.

Many of the flowers grown in the children’s garden are for pollinators and learning about the unusual.

Any child can become a member of our Green Thumb Club to make sure they are informed of all the activities and events throughout the year.

The discovery shed in the garden has many opportunities for expanding a child’s awareness of the animals, insects, birds and plants in our wonderful world of nature.

The garden was started and is maintained by Mission Oaks volunteers, staff and the Zanesville Daybreak Rotary. If you have any questions regarding Olga's Children's Garden or would like to volunteer in this garden please contact us or download our volunteer form.
